Manyways: Green Thumbs Wanted - Grow, Build & Share!

By Hollis Crowe

Do you have gardening know-how? The Turning Point Scotland group at Court Street Sanctuary garden would like to hear from you! They have a whole host of plans, from planting and propagating, to foraging and wreath making, and are looking for someone with some tips and tricks to help them get going. If you are comfortable with delivering a talk to beginner gardeners, or can host a hands-on workshop featuring wood work, bug hotels, and more, they would like to hear from you!

The main hopes for the Turning Point Scotland group in the garden is to take away joy, happiness, contentment, and to create a positive path towards wellbeing. That can take the form of building friendships, learning new skills, and getting a bit of exercise in. There can be a sense of pride and achievement in helping something grow, and if you have some skills you’d like to share, you can be a part of that too!

Let’s learn about nature by building some outdoor skills together, and take away a little bit of happiness afterwards.

Even if you don’t have a particular skill set you’d like to share, if you have a van and a willingness to help get materials from point A to point B, that would also be a huge help!
