Violet Fraser

Violet Fraser is a Volunteer Coastal Ambassador for Scottish Coastal Cleanup and Scottish Islands Federation, and founder of Dundee Litterpickers.
She is driven by her passion to protect nature and wildlife, and seeks to change both awareness of the extent of litter, especially marine litter in Scotland by conducting citizen science surveys and screening Shaping Our Shores to engage in community discussions around these issues. She is also trying to improve communications and collaborations between artists and beach cleaners by running annual events to foster art and material exchanges and encourage localised upcycling solutions to the plastic crisis.
