Emile Mackie

Emile Mackie is a novelist and community activist with a passion for gardening and nature. He is the founder of a grassroots LGBTQIA+ group called Room to Be. He believes that societal change is best impacted through joyful community activism that creates opportunity for people to be seen and valued as their authentic selves; connecting with one another, with nature and with their inherent creativity to truly thrive. Emile would like to see a future where allyship is commonplace, diversity is celebrated and we each feel more rooted and connected with the natural world.
